BackCountry (or BC) is an acoustic Americana band in the Denver area of Colorado. BC is composed of Gary and Suzie Solomon, Mike and Bonnie Coates, Lee Patterson, and Jody Nelson. They enjoy playing a wide variety of music ranging from traditional Americana, bluegrass, gospel bluegrass, folk, and blues. Each of the members is a multi-instrumentalist and most of the members are singers as well. Instruments played in the band include guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, accordion, octive mandolin, autoharp, and occasionally something else that someone brings along! Joy International Benefit a Big Success!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to all who were able to come out last Saturday night and listen to some great music while supporting Joy International, http://www.joy.org, a ministry devoted to the rescue of trafficked children around the world. Over $1600.00 was raised for this cause. Below are a few photos of BackCountry, one of the bands that performed.
