Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that BackCountry will be performing twice this next week. On Wednesday, September 27, we will be playing for Cowboy Church held at the Rinn United Methodist Church south of Longmont along I-25. The service begins at 7pm and we will be providing music for the service.
If you can't make that one, come on down to Harvest Day at the Lowell Ranch south of Castle Rock east of I-25. The Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF) operates the Lowell Ranch and each fall has a Harvest Day celebration. There will be various activities and events for kids of all ages. BackCountry will be performing from approximately 10am - 2pm. So come on down and enjoy the festivities and music. Here are a couple of links with information on the event:

More BackCounty Videos and Schedule Updates
Hi Everyone,
We had a fun evening this past Friday night, August 18, playing at the Cowboy Church of Peyton, Colorado, as part of the Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society music series. It is always a great time and a great audience to play for. From that performance we have put up four new videos. Click on the links on the left to view those.
We have updated our schedule on the right. For those of you who live in the north Denver area, we will be playing at the Cowboy Church that meets at the Rinn United Methodist Church just south of Longmont, CO along I-25. We will be playing as part of their Weds evening church service from 7-8pm. So come join us and hear some fun gospel music and participate in the worship time too.
On September 30, we will be performing at the Harvest Festival in Castle Rock, CO from about 10am-2pm. It should be fun venue, so come on down and take part in the festivities.

Upcoming and Past Performance Info
Hi Everyone,
It has been a while since we last posted, but here are some updates. Below are some photos from a recent performance at Calvary Church in Broomfield on July 23. That was a lot of fun playing for all the folks who came out for that concert.
Over Labor Day weekend on Sat. September 2, BackCountry will be performing on the lawn of the courthouse in Leadville, CO. We don't have a time yet so stay tuned for more info.

It has been a while since we last posted, but here are some updates. Below are some photos from a recent performance at Calvary Church in Broomfield on July 23. That was a lot of fun playing for all the folks who came out for that concert.
After that we had the opportunity to have our new CD called "The Old, Old Way" played in its entirety on KCEG 780AM during a recent Local Artists Thursday (from 12 to 1pm). KCEG plays a lot of great classic country, bluegrass, and Americana music. Their website is at:
We have a few upcoming concerts to mention. Later today (Sat. Aug 12) we are playing at Mad Jacks in Bailey, CO from 4-7pm. So come on up to the hills and cool off with some great Americana music at Mad Jacks.
Next Friday (Aug 18) we are playing at The Cowboy Church of Peyton at 15504 Bradshaw Rd, Peyton, CO (poster below). It will be a great time.

BackCountry Performance in Broomfield, CO - Sunday, July 23

We are excited about the upcoming performance that BackCountry will be doing at Calvary Church in Broomfield, CO on Sunday evening, July 23. See flyer below. Tell all your friends. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy an evening of toe-tapping music. The music will start at 6:30pm. At intermission there will be ice cream and cookies and then we'll end the evening with some more music. We hope to see you there.

BackCountry at the North Platte Bluegrass Festival
Hi Everyone,
This past weekend we had the opportunity to play two sets at the North Platte Bluegrass Festival in North Platte, NE. We also got to lead a workshop on the fundamentals of forming and playing in a band. So lots of fun at a great festival. We also had the opportunity to do a lot of jamming and pickin'. Below are a few photos of the weekend. Enjoy!

New BackCountry Album!
Hi Everyone,
The big news is that BackCountry has released its first album called "The Old, Old Way." We are very excited about this. The album contains several original songs with the remainder public domain songs done in the BackCountry, Americana style of music. See the photos of the CD jacket below. We hope you can catch one of our performances in the near future where the CD will be available. Also please note that the schedule has been updated for some of the venues we will be playing this summer. There are other dates we hope to add once they have been confirmed. If you would like us to play for an event for you please contact us as the email or phone number listed above.

We will be playing two sets on Thursday this week, so if you are in the area or are planning to attend be sure to come and say hi to us. We'll have the new CD at the festival too! Hi Everyone,
Its time for the Winter GospelGrass festival. Its on Saturday, March 4 from 1pm - 8:30pm. BackCountry plays from 7:40 - 8:20pm. There are lots of other good bands too. So come on down and help support a great cause. Admission is free, but there is a donation bucket to help raise funds for Joy International. We hope to see many of you there.
