BackCountry (or BC) is an acoustic Americana band in the Denver area of Colorado. BC is composed of Gary and Suzie Solomon, Mike and Bonnie Coates, Lee Patterson, and Jody Nelson. They enjoy playing a wide variety of music ranging from traditional Americana, bluegrass, gospel bluegrass, folk, and blues. Each of the members is a multi-instrumentalist and most of the members are singers as well. Instruments played in the band include guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, accordion, octive mandolin, autoharp, and occasionally something else that someone brings along! Hi Everyone,
Its time for the Winter GospelGrass festival. Its on Saturday, March 4 from 1pm - 8:30pm. BackCountry plays from 7:40 - 8:20pm. There are lots of other good bands too. So come on down and help support a great cause. Admission is free, but there is a donation bucket to help raise funds for Joy International. We hope to see many of you there.
