The big news is that BackCountry has released its first album called "The Old, Old Way." We are very excited about this. The album contains several original songs with the remainder public domain songs done in the BackCountry, Americana style of music. See the photos of the CD jacket below. We hope you can catch one of our performances in the near future where the CD will be available. Also please note that the schedule has been updated for some of the venues we will be playing this summer. There are other dates we hope to add once they have been confirmed. We are excited to be going to the North Platte Bluegrass Festival this week. This is a great regional festival in North Platte, NE that starts off the spring/summer festival season in this area. We will be playing two sets on Thursday this week, so if you are in the area or are planning to attend be sure to come and say hi to us. We'll have the new CD at the festival too! We will also be conducted a workshop on the "Fundamentals of Forming a Band" at the festival. Here is the link to that festival if you are interested in attending.
